Schlegelmilch and from private collectors, to reveal the full F1 story the great races and their heroes, their victories and defeats from 1962 until end of 2006. Expressive portraits are interspersed with thrilling racing scenes and photos documenting the spirit of the age.

Rainer Schlegelmilch has been shooting Formula 1 for over 50 years. He remembers racing in “pre-Schumacher” time and knows it’s protagonists very well. Schlegelmilch’s black-and-white negatives tell the tale of Formula 1 characters: their ascent to fame, their moments of glory, their decline and, occasionally, their death. He is the holder of a lifetime membership with FMO 500 Club (photographers of Formula 1 Management) and is considered one of the greatest F1 photographers of all time.


Each book is Hardcover with fine slipcase. Books are in Excellent "Gift Quality" condition, pages are clean and tight. Each book set is numbered calligraphically and personally signed by Dieter Streve-Mülhens and Rainer W. Schlegelmilch.
